Krista is performing this Thursday, January 28 at the first installment of the Sweater Set Sideshow, an evening of music by The Sweater Set (a lovely DC-based songwriting duo) and performances by special guests.  The show starts at 7:30 pm at Solly’s U St. Tavern in Washington, DC.

Krista is performing at Sestraluna’s All Hallows Hafla in Glen Burnie, MD on October 24. The event features a workshop, ”Hand Drums of the Middle East and Africa,” from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The costume party starts at 6:00 p.m., with dance performances from 8:00 - 10:00. $10 per person for the costume party (includes food, spirits, and the show). Mosaic Cafe is a Lebanese restaurant in College Park with live entertainment and an amazing menu! 

Krista will be performing at Mosaic Cafe for a hafla (dance show) this Saturday, July 25 from 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. Check out the Mosaic Cafe’s website for details.

Krista is performing at Artomatic 2009  in June.   Artomatic is a large festival that showcases a diverse group of visual and performing artists.  In the spirit of creative enlightenment, events are free and open to the public.  Artomatic 2009 will be in DC’s Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.
