Booking Options

Short Set: The short set is great for surprising someone special! It can also start an evening of performances (opening set). 10-15 minutes

Classic Set: A classic raqs sharqi performance.  The show is tailored to your event, but a typical performance includes an exciting entrance, taqsim (a dramatic, slow piece), cane or sword routine, dynamic drum solo, and grand finale.  Audience participation can also be incorporated.  Music, costuming, and use of accessories (cane, sword, candle tray, etc.) can be tailored to your needs. Birthday parties include a small gift for the guest of honor. 20-25 minutes; additional time can be negotiated

Shimmy Party: A Shimmy Party is a popular choice for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, girls’ night out, and similar gatherings.  Enjoy a short dance performance and then learn some belly dance moves! Hip scarves will be provided. 60 minutes; additional time can be negotiated

Restaurant: A discounted rate is available for an ongoing restaurant booking.

Charity Events: A discounted rate may be available for charity events; please call or email for details.

Raqs sharqi (belly dance) draws from the celebratory traditions of Eastern and Middle Eastern cultures. Krista’s performances are given in this manner and are joyful, fun, and family friendly.
